Conceived by our London Design Studios in a unique collaboration between Europe and Japan, this beautiful instrument is the epitome of contemporary expression and form – perfectly styled for European design and taste. Classic Values
Our industry leading actions, keyboards and frames are manufactured to the most exacting standards in Hamamatsu, Japan. Final assembly, using Yamaha’s highest-grade Bavarian spruce soundboards, is carried out meticulously at our UK manufacturing facility. The use of five back posts ensures optimum sound projection and the hammers are of the same high quality as those used in our leading Conservatoire Series upright instruments.
It is this attention to detail and uncompromising choice or materials that results in unrivalled longevity, tuning stability and a rich, resonant tone.
Extraordinary detail
Transforming the ordinary into something more altogether more special, the Radius design team has cut no corners. Every aspect of the piano’s appearance has been explored and the result is far greater than the sum of its parts. A subtle curve added here, optional chrome detailing there, and a choice of polished ebony or wengé finishes combine in harmonious unity.
Sculpted Elegance
When not making music, a well-designed Piano complements and enhances a living space without dominating it. Radius was conceived to blend – with classical, sculpted elegance – into a contemporary environment. Its relaxing lines and timeless qualities are all you would expect in a fine, handcrafted piece of furniture.
